It’s Guest Bartender Night at 50 North, a fundraiser to benefit Assistance League of Seattle! This was a popular event last December and we are thrilled to be able to host them again!

The “ALS Gals” will be servin’ up tasty concoctions, working their tails off for a great cause!

Come join in the FUN and help raise FUNDS for those in need in our community!  Assistance League of Seattle provides new school clothing for elementary school children in need; awards community college scholarships for adults who wouldn’t otherwise be able to attend college; and pays for middle and high school kids to attend extracurricular workshops, classes and camps!

Assistance League of Seattle (ALS) is dedicated to improving the quality of life for children and adults in the greater Seattle communityALS has three philanthropic programs:

1.  Operation School Bell (OSB) provides brand new school clothing to elementary students in need.  Each year ALS clothes close to 2000 children from the Seattle School District, many of them homeless and ALL of them determined to be in great need by the Family Support Worker Program.   Well clothed and proud of their appearance, children attend school regularly and are eager to learn.  In the first 10 days of this school year OSB clothed over 200 kids, and they’re anticipating record numbers throughout the year.  The goal is to not turn any of these needy children away!

2.  Financial Aid for Education gives scholarships to community college students of low and moderate income, so they can better their lives through education.  The program is currently covering tuition and books for 25 hard working students who do not have access to other forms of financial assistance, and who otherwise would not be able to go to college!

3.  Enrichment Scholarship Program offers extra-curricular scholarships to students in grades 6-11 in the Seattle School District. Recipients attend workshops, camps and classes in art, music, science, math, computer science and similar fields.  Assistance League of Seattle was able to send 75 kids to camp last year, and hopes to be able to support even more this year!

It will be a fabulous evening for a great cause! Read more about 50 North Guest Bartender Benefit Events.

And quite a photogenic group to boot!
